As someone learns to teach or lead in a transformational way, the activity becomes self-reinforcing. In helping others transform we become increasing clear about who we are and why we are on the earth. We engage our work with love, we increasingly experience success and we hunger to get even better.
Change agents emerge in every profession and context. As people pay the steep price for acquiring the positive perspective, they become more and more masterful. Eventually they gain a theory of influence that allows them to inspire positive change in any situation.
n an age of continuous change, organizations must match their environments by being more responsive, and people must match their organizations by being more responsive.
A positive company is seriously invested in creating a positive culture. It does what others are unwilling to do.
We attract others into the fundamental state of leadership not by imitation, but by becoming unique.
Transformations must be continually nurtured but they cannot be controlled. People who live through transformations can reflect on them and begin to understand the dynamics.
There is a continuum. At one end are people who seldom experience meaning in what they do, at the other end, are people who often experience meaning in what they do. A positive organization attracts people to the latter end of the continuum.
